New Chinese Restaurant on Tap for Main Street

A Chinese restaurant has plans to occupy the former home of Dynamic Percussion at 575 Main St., according to information from the Manchester Building Department.

Bao Di Chen, who lists his address as 341 East Center Street, the current home of the Beijing Chinese restaurant. It was unclear from the information available Tuesday, July 23, 2013, if the Beijing restaurant was moving or if this would be a new location. Di Chen secured the permit in October of 2012, and said he planned to put $45,000 worth of work into the building to convert it to a restaurant. 

The new Main Street restaurant would still need facade and signage approval from the Planning and Zoning Commission before it could open, according to town staff.

Dynamic Percussion moved to its current location at 185 West Middle Turnpike in January of 2012.
