MACC Charities, in conjunction with UConn SNAP Education and Share our Strength, is offering a 6 week course "Cooking Matters" for low income residents.  Hands-on cooking instruction, nutrition activities and discussions will accompany communal eating of food prepared in class. Groceries to prepare the recipe at home are provided each week. Each graduate will receive a cooking “tool box.”   Our next Cooking Matters class is scheduled to start June 9. Classes will be held on Thursdays from 1-3pm.  Class size is limited so please call to register.  Dale Doll, Director of Food Services, MACC Charities, 860-288-4251.
