Poll: What's Your Favorite Part Of The Oscars?

The Academy Awards are given out Sunday night, and Connecticut's own Meryl Streep is in the running — again.

Who will look fabulous and who will garner a "what was she thinking?" response as the stars make their way down the red carpet at the Academy Awards Sunday night?

Who will accidentally swear or climb over chairs to kiss Halle Berry (Adrien Brody in 2003) or drop to the floor and do pushups (Jack Palance in 1992) while giving an acceptance speech?

Will Billy Crystal live up to his reputation as the best Oscar host ever?

Do you watch the Oscars? What's your favorite part? Or how about to take home the award for best visual special effects for his work on the Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 2? Take our poll and add your favorites in the comments.

I'm tired of the award shows and the Oscar's in particular. They may once have had some meaning...

The gowns (the good, the bad, and the ugly) and Billy Crystal's opening monologue (which I've missed all these years). The rest I can read about the next day.

Not having to watch them. I'll read about Hugo's sweep in the morning.

I actually look forward to the Oscars every year, the only other awards show I watch is the Golden Globes. We have a yearly Oscar night at our home, complete with an assortment of hors d'ourves, back stage passes and of course popcorn. We make a point to watch several of the nominated movies prior to the event. Most recently,Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris, which we did enjoy. We are looking forward to the return of Billy Crystal tonight. It's simply something we enjoy doing as a family fun night.
