Onyx Moonshine's 'The Moonchester' Named Official Cocktail of 3rd Annual Taste of Manchester

The 3rd Annual Taste of Manchester will be held on Tuesday, May 15 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., rain or shine.  The event begins and ends at The Army Navy Club of Manchester with entertainment by Mass-Conn-Fusion Jazz Duo.  

This year brings attendees tastes from 16 local eateries, four of which will offer visitors the 2012 Taste of Manchester Official Cocktail, “The Moonchester.” Made with Manchester’s own and local honey, this cocktail will be sold at Hartford Road Café, Rocco’s, The Hungry Tiger and The Main Pub. 

“We are thrilled to be able to incorporate Connecticut's first legal moonshine into our 2012 celebration,” said event co-chair Dennis Reinholt. “The Taste of Manchester is all about celebrating our community while supporting local business and a local nonprofit organization. The addition of ‘The Moonchester’ is frosting on the cake of what is shaping up to be a really great event.” 

Tickets limited and cost $20/adult and $12/child under 12 years old. They can be purchase now through PayPal.com and in person at the Customer Service & Information Center on the first floor of Manchester Town Hall. Proceeds will benefit MDOG: Manchester Dog Owners Group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which, with the help of the Taste of Manchester, will celebrate the grand .
