One-time concert at historic Cheney Hall

The best of Connecticut folk singers will join together in a one-time concert at historic Cheney Hall on Friday, October 7th.  Nina and the Quarry Cats, Bill Benson, Eric Paradine, The Guinea Pigs, Dave Fry, Trainwreck Jerry, the Knott Brothers and Ron Anthony will bring their best original and cover tunes for one night only on the history Hall’s main stage in “A Family of Friends” concert. All of the performers are regulars at numerous folk concerts, café’s, outdoor performances spaces, music festivals and other music venues throughout New England and abroad.  Each has such a different style, some leaning toward more classic folk, others with a twist of the blues and jazz. Individual sets will be complimented with collaborative numbers throughout the evening which begins at  7 p.m.  Admission is $10 in advance or $15 at the door.   Tickets are available only through the box office at 177 Hartford Road or by calling 860-647-9824. Cheney Hall is located at 177 Hartford Road, Manchester and is the oldest operating theater in the State of Connecticut.
