Free Play Reading - Purple Hearts

Purple Hearts by Burgess Clark tells the partially fictionalized story of three sailors trapped in the U.S.S. West Virginia after the attack on Pearl Harbor.  Their ranks may be different but they learn a lot of their similiarities as they wait their fate on the sunken vessel.  Their loved ones wait and worry back at home.

This free play reading is scheduled on the 70th anniversary date of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Join us as we commemorate this day and pay honor to the lives lost and to those who serve our military.

The play begins at 7 p.m.  Free, but donations gladly accepted.  This is the final Evenings @ 7 play in the 2011 Little Theatre of Manchester season.
