Veterans Day Parade Set For Monday in Manchester

A Veterans Day parade is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, stepping off from the American Legion Hall on Legion Drive.

Manchester will honor veterans with a Veterans Day parade on Monday, Nov. 11, 2013. The parade will step off from the American Legion Hall on Legion Drive at 10:45 a.m. and will continue to the front lawn of Manchester Memorial Hospital at 210 Marie Langdon Dr. The parade is scheduled to arrive at 11 a.m. 

The ceremony will include a number of honored gues, the lowering of colors by the Color Guards of American Legion Post #102, Disabled American Veterans Chapter #17, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2046, and Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #120, followed by the placing of memorial wreaths at the Memorial Stone in front of the hospital. The National Anthem will be sung by a member of the Summit Studios.

The parade is free and open to the public. Afterwards, light refreshments will be served in the Manchester Memorial Hospital conference rooms E and F.
