Test Your Manchester History: Where Was This Photo Taken?

Test your knowledge of Manchester history with this photo from the Reginald Pinto Photo Collection of the Manchester Historical Society.

How well do you know your Manchester history?

Well, then how about you tell us (approximately) when and where in Manchester this photo was taken?

Each week in A Moment In Time, we showcase a historical photo from Manchester's rich history - courtesy of the Manchester Historical Society - and ask our readers to identify the location and about when the photo was taken.

This week's photo comes from the Reginald Pinto Photo Collection. If you think you know the answer or have a special memory related to the photo, respond in the comment box below this article. We'll run the answer next week, along with a new historical photo.

As for last week's photo, we're not sure about the exact date (we think it was somewhere in the late 1960s to the early 1970s) but it was the demolition of a building on Main Street around the 597 number (you can see 595 to the left). This section of Main Street was also known as the Sheridan Block.
