Test Your Manchester History: Where Was This?

Test your knowledge of Manchester history with this photo from the Reginald Pinto Photo Collection of the Manchester Historical Society.

How well do you know your Manchester history? Well, then how about you tell us (approximately) when and where in Manchester this photo was taken?

Each week in A Moment In Time, we showcase a historical photo from Manchester's rich history - courtesy of the Manchester Historical Society - and ask our readers to guess the location and about when the photo was taken. This week's photo comes from the Reginald Pinto Photo Collection. If you think you know the answer or have a special memory related to the photo, respond in the "Leave a comment" box below this article. We'll run the answer next week, along with a new historical photo.

As for last week's photo, everyone who guessed Main Street where it intersects with North Main Street is correct. That area of town was once known as Depot Square, because it housed the Manchester train station, which was demolished in 1962. Last week's photo was taken in either 1963 or 1964.
