TELL US: Should Manchester Schools Redistrict?

Here's your chance to sound off on this local issue impacting Manchester!

Redistricting could be on the horizon for Manchester's public elementary schools.

According to information recently revealed by Interim Superintendent Richard Kisiel, a proposed fifth/sixth grade academy and the planned renovation of two existing elementary schools could result in the town closing two of its current nine elementary schools. The school district is currently studying potential redistricting options that could result from this shift.

But Manchester Patch wants to know what you think about this issue? Are neighborhood elementary schools an important part of Manchester's makeup? Are nine elementary schools too costly to staff and maintain? Or what?
