Seniors: Home Bound? How About a Nutritious Meal?

Preparing meals can be a problem for the senior as well as for caregivers. Meals on Wheels may be the answer.

Many seniors have limited means of getting out and moving around the community and are virtually homebound.

Preparing meals can be a problem for the senior as well as for caregivers. Meals on Wheels, a program of the Community Renewal Team, may be the answer.

CRT provides daily meals to seniors over 60 years of age who are homebound. The meals are nutritious and inexpensive - a donation of $2 per meal is suggested, but seniors who cannot afford that will not be refused.

Lunches and dinners are delivered daily (every day or just a couple of days as ordered) by a senior volunteer driver from CRT.
