Manchester Fire Department 8th Utilities District hosted its 62nd annual Peach Festival Friday, Aug. 29, at its fire house on Main Street. The event, which cost $4 for an admission ticket but also included a bowl of peach shortcake and the chance to a variety of door prizes, was a fundraiser for the department's planned 125 year anniversary celebration in 2013.
