'Mission Complete' Ceremony for Sandra Lee's Manchester Home Scheduled for Saturday
Purple Heart Homes will hold a "Mission Complete Ceremony" on Saturday, July 27, to welcome Sandra Lee to the Manchester community.
Come Saturday, wounded Iraq war veteran Sandra Lee will be Manchester's newest resident!
Purple Heart Homes, with the assistance of the Manchester community, has been building a home for the wounded Army veteran on Cornell Street for the better part of the past year. On Saturday, the non-profit organization will be hosting a "Mission Complete Ceremony" to officially welcome Lee to Manchester and turn over the keys to her new house.
The "Mission Complete Ceremony," which is open to the public, is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013, and will include state and local officials.
