Community Corner
A Day at the Manchester Farmers' Market
In a nicely shaded section of the Manchester Community College Campus, dozens gathered to purchase fresh vegetables and products and enjoy music and pony-rides, as well.
The weekly farmers’ market held at Manchester Community College provides the opportunity for the community to purchase fresh produce, homemade products, and other goods from local vendors.
In addition to local farmers and vendors, the market includes entertainment and events for children and adults.
This week featured the music and storytelling of Gale Gardiner, a recording artist, composer, and educator from Farmington (see video attached this page).

In addition, children were offered pony rides aboard Starbuck, a pony from Fiddlehead Farms. The pony ride will return for a farmers’ market in August.
The Lutz Children's Museum will be providing a bestiary of snakes, lizards, and turtles for the market next week.
