Manchester Road Race to Close Local Roads Thursday
If you're planning on running the 77th Annual Manchester Road Race, here are some helpful traffic tips.
If you're planning on participating in the 77th Annual Manchester Road Race, or just being a spectator at the event, it would probably be a good idea to familiarize with the following traffic restrictions and road closures on race day:
- Main Street will be closed from Center Street to Charter Oak Street from 5 a.m. to until race clean up is complete around 1 p.m.
- At 8:45 a.m., Exit 3 of I-384 will be closed in both directions.
- The entire length of the 4.75-mile course will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 9:15 a.m. Roads will be re-opened after the trail car passes each of them.
- Shuttle buses will be running from Manchester Community College to the starting line. Click here for the shuttle bus schedule.
