Manchester Memorial Hospital to Host Health Care Enrollment Fair
The enrollment fair will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Hospital.

State Rep. Joe Diminico (D-Glastonbury, Manchester) announced Thursday that Access Health CT, the state’s health care exchange under the federal Affordable Care Act, will hold an enrollment fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Manchester Memorial Hospital.

“This fair presents an excellent opportunity for people needing in-person help with enrolling for health care insurance coverage,” Diminico said. “People also can receive assistance in Medicaid enrollment.”
If a person signs up before Dec. 15, coverage will begin on Jan. 1.
The fair to be held in the hospital’s conference room will assist individuals, families and small businesses and allow them to compare available insurance plans. People also may be able to save money or be eligible for a tax credit on insurance even if coverage already exists.
