Manchester Going to the Dogs (Again)
The Manchester Dog Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013.
The annual Manchester Dog Festival, a fundraising event for the Manchester Dog Owners Group (MDOG), will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Globe Hollow on Spring Street.
The event, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., "celebrates our canine citizens, creates awareness for responsible dog ownership, and helps to raise funds to promote canine recreational activities and programs like the festival itself and Manchester’s future dog park," according to MDOG.
Volunteers to assist with the event are still needed. To volunteer, email volunteer4mdog@yahoo.com.
A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 8. Globe Hollow is located at 100 Spring St.
