Main Street Scavenger Hunt Tonight

Imagine Main Street’s First Thursday events continue on Thursday, November 7th.  Highlights of the November 7th program include the following happenings:

Imaginer Main Street Downtown Scavenger Hunt – from 6PM to 8PM – Pickup your form at MCC on Main, 903 Main St. First entry returned with the most correct answers wins a gift certificate to Mulberry Street Restaurant. Participants who return their Scavenger Hunt form will receive a Webster Bank tote bag filled with surprise items. Suggested $5 donations to will benefit Main Street Fire Victims Fund administered by MACC Charities.  

Rockville Bank Presents: Face the Need – a MACC Charities Event - from 4PM to 9PM at MCC on Main, 903 Main St. - A new generation expressing local need through the arts.  Student work from East Catholic High School and Manchester High School is featured.  Free admission, art, music, and local food.  Live auction of the student art open to the public at 6PM with Auctioneer Marr Geary, Principal of MHS.  www.macc-ct.org

Non Perishable Donations to MACC Food Pantry - from 6PM to 8PM – Bring a nonperishable food item to help stock the MACC Food Pantry. A collection truck will be located at the Forest Street Parking Lot next to 974 Main St.

Hot Chocolate Compliments of the Salvation Army – from 6PM to 8PM - at the Forest Street Parking Lot next to 974 Main St.

Tasting of Jack Daniels Winter Jack, a Tennessee Cider - from 6PM to 8PM at the Forest Package Store, 1065 Main St.

Wine Tasting - from 6PM to 8PM at Sean’s Fine Jewelry, 705 Main St.

Salsa and Chips Tasting - from 6PM to 9PM at Los Sarapes, 697 Main St.

Artisan Crafters & Art Demonstration – from 6 PM to 8PM at 687 Main St. Art and handcrafted items for sale.  Art demonstration by Young @ Art.  Contributions to Young @ Art and Main Street Fire Victims Fund welcomed.

“Dia de Muertes” Celebration and Untamed and Loose Art Market - beginning at 8:30PM at 687 Main St.
