The following is a press release from the Downtown Manchester Special Services District:

Although a fire on Oct. 12 destroyed their business, the spirit of community is still strong in the owners of Great Harvest Bread Company. As they have over the past several years, Jean and Dale Roberts, along with Jean's daughter Melanie Dunn, will don makeup and costumes to lead the Children's Costume Parade on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the conclusion of the Downtown Manchester's Safe Downtown Trick-or-Treat. The parade assembles at Center Memorial Park, next to the Mary Cheney Library, 586 Main St., Manchester, CT and will march off at 1:20 p.m., proceeding south on Main Street to its conclusion on the lawn of Bennet Academy.

Each year the Downtown Manchester's Safe Trick-or-Treat attracts over 1,000 children and parents. Please see the attached flyer for additional details.
