"5 Things You Need to Know About..." Manchester Patch's Week

Highlights for the week of March 13 in the life of the indefatigable Manchester Patch.

Highlights from the past week included: 

1. School officials and Manchester Police Chief Marc Montminy gave a presentation Monday to the Board of Education on the status of at Manchester High School since a Dec. 16 fight that led to the arrest of almost 20 students. Montminy told the school board that "things have certainly trended downward in terms of in-school arrests” since many of the changes have been implemented. 

2. Wednesday, General Manager Scott Shanley held a to allow residents to comment on his $163,938,616 budget proposal for the 2011-12 fiscal year. Not a lot of people showed up to the hearing, but those that did certainly had plenty to say.
