A Tree of Love and Memories

(Manchester, CT) The annual Tree of Love lighting ceremony, sponsored by The Auxiliary of Manchester Memorial Hospital, began in the main lobby of the hospital on December 6 at 5 p.m. After opening remarks from Roberta Irish, Auxiliary President; Deborah Parker, Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services & Chief Clinical Officer; and Dr. Dennis O'Neill, Chair, ECHN Board of Trustees, about 50 attendees moved to the front lawn of the hospital for the Invocation, the lighting of the tree, and a carol sing. Festivities resumed inside, where holiday music was provided by Rimas Polikaitis, and refreshments were served. Proceeds from the tree lights purchased in honor or memory of someone special are expected to be over $1500.
