Manchester's Clark Named to All-Academic Team at ECSU

Clark, a Manchester native, was one of 32 Eastern Connecticut State University athletes who received the honor.

Jordan Clark, a Manchester native and a sophomore on the Eastern Connecticut State University men's soccer team, was one of 32 ECSU athletes honored as members of the Little East Conference All-Academic Team. Clark, majoring in Business Administration, obtained this award by achieving a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

All six fall sports at Eastern were represented in the list of honorees. Eastern ranks second among the eight conference institutions with a total of 335 all-academic selections since the program's inception in the fall of 2007.

The accolades do not stop there for Connecticut's only public liberal arts university, as last year Eastern featured 89 academic honor roll achievers, which gave it the most in the conference. Furthermore, in 2009-10 Eastern won the inaugural President's Cup for having the highest cumulative GPA of all the conference schools.
