Hartford Man Charged in Super Convenience Store Murder
An 18-year old Hartford man, Charles Wilson, already facing murder charges in Hartford, was charged Tuesday with the May 22 killing of a convenience store clerk.
A Hartford man already in custody on murder charges was charged Tuesday in the May 22 on Hartford Road.
Charles Wilson, an 18-year old Hartford resident, who is facing murder charges in Hartford for a May 30 shooting murder, was charged with felony murder, murder, and criminal attempt/robbery for the May 22 death of at the Super Convenience Store at 469 Hartford Rd. Wilson was served with the new charges prior to his arraignment at Hartford Superior Court Tuesday for the murder of 74-year old Andrew Igidi outside a package store on Albany Avenue in Hartford on May 30.
Manchester Police said they received a tip June 3 that identified Wilson as a possible suspect in both killings, and that Detective James Graham was then able to build a case against Wilson for both murders. Manchester Police said that information was then relayed to the Hartford Police Department, who arrested Wilson was June 14 on loitering charges in Hartford. Police say that Wilson then confessed to both murders.

Wilson is being held on a combined $4.25 million bond for both murders.
